Three 'iron ring' castles
Tour the great Edwardian fortresses of Conwy, Caernarfon, and Beaumaris, built to keep the independence-minded Welsh in check.

A week in beautiful North Wales, where breathtaking mountains, Victorian seaside towns, and centuries-old castles crowd together in one small, spellbinding corner of the British Isles.
About this tour
North Wales packs a punch, with dozens of attractions nestled inside a relatively small area. Breathtaking mountains, Victorian-era towns, centuries-old castles, an expansive coastline, and a warm, friendly culture come together to make it an idyllic destination.
We base ourselves in the elegant seaside resort town of Llandudno, a Victorian-era favorite of vacationers including Lewis Carroll, who drew on the town and its surroundings as inspiration for his Alice in Wonderland books. North Wales is also the heartland of the Welsh language, with 'Croeso i Gymru' (welcome to Wales) heard on every street.
