About this tour
We invite you, your family, and friends to join us on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the English countryside, walking in the footsteps of the men who flew with the Mighty Eighth Army Air Force during World War II. Based at the Hilton Cambridge City Centre Hotel, this small-group tour brings history to life at the airfields, museums, and villages that shaped the air war over Europe.
Five escorted coach days take you to IWM Duxford, RAF Bassingbourn, Thorpe Abbotts, the Rougham Control Tower Museum, and the Cambridge American Cemetery — with a brewery tour, a Cambridge walking tour, and a free day to explore at your own pace. The land package includes hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, and group dinners.
